Day 1, September 12, Sunday, USA-GERMANY
Departure from your hometown to Munich, Germany

Day 2, September 13, Monday, MUNICH-OBERAMMERGAU
Arrival to Munich and transfer to your hotel near Oberammergau. Dinner and overnight around Oberammergau.

Day 3, September 14, Tuesday, OBERAMMERGAU-PASSION PLAY
Today is the highlight of the tour, the world famous Passion Play, which has been regularly performed since 1633. In the middle of the Thirty Years War, after months of dying and suffering from the plague, the people of Oberammergau took a vow to perform the "Play of the Suffering, Dying and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ" every ten years. In the afternoon and evening we will be watching the performance of the play, with excellent, pre-reserved seats. Almost half of the inhabitants of the town perform in the play on the large open-air stage. Dinner and overnight near Oberammergau.

Day 4, September 15, Wednesday, OBERAMMERGAU MUNICH
This morning we travel to Munich and meet our local guide who guides us through the exciting Bavarian capital. Pass the Olympic village and stadium, along the Leopoldstrasse with the Triumphal Arch and Hall of Generals; see the Theatiner Church and Residence Palace. See the Nymphenburg Palace and a stop to see the famous Glockenspiel at the new Gothic City Hall completes your tour. Dinner and overnight in Munich.

Day 5, September 16, Thursday, MUNICH-INSBURG, AUSTRIA
After breakfast, we will travel to Innsbruck, Austria enjoying the scenic ride. This afternoon is at leisure to familiarize yourself with surrounding. Dinner and overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 6, September 17, Friday, INNSBRUCK
After breakfast, join a guided sightseeing tour of Innsbruck’s most famous and historical landmarks. We will visit the Swarovski Crysatal Museum in nearby Wattens and Castle Tratzburg, a 16th centry gothic structure originally designed to protect the border against the marauding Bavarians. Dinner and overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 7, September 18, Saturday, INNSBRUCK, SALZBURG
After breakfast, we will travel to Salzburg, home of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and “The Sound of Music” for a full day of sightseeing and shopping. After arrival, a local guide will take us on a tour of the city, including a visit to Mozart’s birthplace. We will explore the wonderful architecture and historic sites of Salzburg and browse the beautiful shops on Getreidegasse. Return to Innsbruck for dinner and overnight.

Day 8, September 19, Sunday, INNSBRUCK- LIECHTENSTEIN-VADUZ-ENGELBERG
After breakfast we will drive through the Alps to Liechtenstein, an independent principality between Austria and Switzerland. After visiting the capital Vaduz, enter into Switzerland to Lucerne with beautiful Mountain and lake settings. Dinner and overnight in Engelberg.

Day 9, September 20, Monday, ENGELBERG-MT. TITLIS
After breakfast we will visit Mt. Titlis. Cable cars will take the visitors into eternal snow and ice on the top of Mt. Titlis. The final cable car to the peak is the Rotair, the first revolving cable car in the world. During the journey, the floor of the cable car rotates once arount its own axis. At 3020 meters above sea level the air is the purest. Visit ice glacier cave, lunch on your own on the top, by ice flyer chairlift to the snow fun park, by cable cars back to Gerschnialp. Dinner and overnight in Engelberg.

Day 10, September 21, Tuesday, ENGELBERG-LUCERNE-ENGELBERG
After breakfast, we will have the sightseeing tour of Lucerne, will include the beautiful Lion Monument, the Kapell Bridge and the Spreuer Bridge as well as the elegant, flower covered promenades. Visit to Lake Lucerne, an area of spectacular natural beauty. Dinner and overnight in Engelberg.

Day 11, September 22, Wednesday-ENGELBERG-ZURICH After breakfast, we will drive to Zurich. Orientation tour of Zurich to view some sites, the Old City and the busy Bahnhofstrasse. Dinner and overnight in Zurich.

Day 12, September 23, Thursday, ZURICH-USA
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.


The incredible altar and painted walls of the Rococo Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul which was built between 1735 and 1740 and is surrounded by graves that include those who succumbed to the plague of 1632.
